Available Filters and Their Use


Month: Select the month for which you wish to view time logs.
View Options: Choose between daily, weekly, or monthly views to suit your review preferences.
Status: Filter logs by their current status, selecting either pending or approved logs.
Department: Narrow your search to a specific department.
Employee: Focus on time logs for individual employees.

Applying Filters: A Step-by-Step Guide


Selecting the Month: Click on the month dropdown and choose the desired month for which you want to view time logs.
Choosing the View Option: Decide if you want a daily, weekly, or monthly overview and select the corresponding option.
Filtering by Status: Use the status filter to view either pending or approved logs, depending on your task.
Narrowing Down by Department and Employee: Select a department to view its logs, and further refine your search by selecting an employee if needed.

Practical Use Cases


Approving Pending Logs: To approve pending logs for a specific department in the last month, set the month to the previous one, select the department, and choose "pending" under status. This view will display all pending logs, which can then be reviewed and approved.
Reviewing Employee Logs: For a detailed review of an employee's approved time logs over the past month, select the employee, set the status to "approved", and choose a monthly view.
