Work Shift Views and Customization

The Employee View displays all shifts and employees for a given location, showing which employee is assigned to each shift and on which date. This view can be filtered by week or by employees for targeted scheduling.

Shift Creation and Management Features

Shift Overview: The Employee View provides a comprehensive snapshot of shift assignments, facilitating easy monitoring and adjustments.
Example Use Case: A manager filters the view by week to ensure all shifts are covered and evenly distributed among employees.

Custom Shift Creation: New shifts can be tailored with a name, color code, day, start and end times, break duration, and repetition pattern (non-recurring/custom). Specific employees can be assigned to shifts, or the number of needed employees can be specified, along with a description for clarity.
Example Use Case: Creating a "Morning Inventory" shift with a unique color, assigning it to a particular employee, and detailing the shift's tasks in the description to ensure clear communication.

Publishing Shifts: Completed shifts become visible to employees once they are published, keeping the team informed and prepared.
Example Use Case: Upon finalizing the weekly schedule, shifts are published, instantly updating employees about their upcoming work times and responsibilities.

This structured approach to shift planning enhances the scheduling process, offering clarity and efficiency through customizable shift details and transparent communication with employees.
