Leave and Absence Request Submission



Leave and absence requests are initiated from the calendar view, either by directly clicking on a specific day or selecting the "New -> Absence" button.

Simplified Request Process


Initiating Requests: Employees can swiftly create absence requests within the calendar, enhancing user convenience and request accuracy.
Example Use Case: An employee anticipates the need for a personal day off and initiates a leave request directly on the planned day within the calendar view, streamlining the submission process.

Detailed Request Information: For each absence, the type, start and end date are specified, with an option to include comments for context. Following submission, the request is forwarded to the employee’s supervisor for approval.
Example Use Case: Submitting a vacation request, an employee selects the "Vacation" type, sets the duration, and adds a note on the reason for the leave. The detailed request ensures clear communication and aids in the approval process.

This intuitive and structured approach to leave and absence requests facilitates straightforward submission and efficient processing, ensuring all necessary details are communicated to supervisors for approval.
