Document Management System Overview

Our platform categorizes documents into two primary types for streamlined access and organization: Corporate Documents and Personal Documents, each designed to meet specific information sharing and privacy needs.

Corporate Documents

Accessible to All: Intended for company-wide access, this repository is ideal for housing essential operational documents, policies, training materials, and general announcements.
Example Use Case: Uploading the company’s employee handbook, ensuring that all team members can access it anytime for reference on company policies and procedures.

Personal Documents

Privately Accessible: Serves as a secure space for storing documents that are personal or sensitive in nature, visible only to the uploading employee, their direct supervisor, and system administrators.
Example Use Case: An employee uploads their annual performance review document, which is then accessible for review and discussion by them, their supervisor, and HR administrators only.

By leveraging these distinct document categories, our system facilitates efficient and secure information sharing, ensuring that corporate resources are universally accessible, while personal documents remain confidential and are shared only with relevant parties.
